BREAKING NEWS: Disney Wonder has mishap in Alaska!
Looks like the Wonder blew a propeller on the way back to port today. Possibly on the ice by the glacier? Cause has yet to be confirmed.
Unfortunately, the Wonder had to cancel its last port of call. Enchanted Adventures has clients embarking today and so far there are no delays. When the ship pulled into port they had a crane with a new propeller and a dive team waiting for it. Had the propeller changed in a couple of hours. Wow! Well done DCL! – Thank you Agent Kristi for this information!
Port fees from Ketchikan and any scheduled Port Adventures will be fully refunded. In addition, guest will receive a $150 OBC and each stateroom will receive a 20% discount for a future cruise.
Thankfully, no one has been reported hurt or injured. Happy Sailing!
Congratulations to Disney Cruise Lines for stepping up and taking care of the ship in a timely manner. And making sure the Disney magic is still there for everyone, even when it’s out of Tinkerbell’s control.
