They are perfect for the budget minded traveler, while still immersing yourself in the Disney magic from the minute you wake up. Some will even say, better theming than some of the more higher end resorts.
Total Immersion
Is that a two-story Dalmatian ? Can you really run through the giant football helmet ? Did I just pass a giant guitar ? This is something you will find yourself asking each other as you explore. Each resort has their own unique theme with giant decorations throughout that make it just an adventure to wander around and absorb it all. The All-Stars complex was opened in the mid 90’s with something that would appeal to everyone. Let’s take a look at each resort and see which one is your favorite…
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
Music was the second All-Star resorts to open and the first value to have family suites. It has 1604 rooms and pays homage to classic music genres. Including broadway show tunes, calypso, country, jazz and rock n’ roll. As characteristic of all Disney All-Star Value resorts, there are giant novelty items such was guitars, trumpets and drums, plus many others.

With 2 pools on property, guests have the choice of taking a dip with the 3 Caballeros or strike a chord at the Piano pool. The first, featuring Donald Duck, José Carioca and Panchito in the center of the 251,418-gallon, guitar-shaped pool, the fountain lightheartedly shoots water at nearby swimmers. Want something different, head to the piano pool. A grand piano shaped swimming hole featuring black and white keys. This 106,036 gallon leisure pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day at the parks.

The bus for the parks will pick you up at the front of the resort which is housed in the same building as the Intermission Food court. A great place to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Disney’s All-Star Sports
Who’s ready to get in the game ? Wanna play a little game of touch football during lunch, then this is the resort for you ! The first of the Disney All-Star resorts, it opened in 1994, and has 10 building housing 1920 rooms that will make any sports fan super happy. Theming includes tennis, basketball, football, baseball and surfing. Once again, with the same giant characteristics of the other parks young athletes (or young at heart) will love this resort.

Since nothing feels better after a good sports game then a dip in the pool, let’s look at the two pools on property. Just like at Music, this resort features a pool that squirts water at swimmers, but in this case Goofy is in charge. Shaped like a baseball diamond, this pool will give you grand slam in fun. If you wanna “hang 10” then the other pool is perfect for you ! Surrounded by giant surfboards, this sprawling pool area is perfect for catching some rays, there is also a kiddie pool nearby.
Endzone food court is a great place to sack your hunger with a winning line-up of burgers, pizza and pasta—all while TVs showcase popular Disney cartoons and sporting events amid ample indoor seating! It’s also in the main building with a little gift shop, the lobby and the bus stop for the resort.
Disney All-Star Movies
Every want to star in a movie, now’s your chance. Staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies resort puts you right in the middle of some of your favorite movies. Also containing 1920 rooms with 6 different themes, there is something for every movie buff. 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, Fantasia (original and 2000), Mighty Ducks and Herbie, The Love Bug, surround you as you wake up and greet you when you return from the parks. Nothing like coming home to a 40′ tall Pongo, giant sorcerers hats or running below the original cool car himself, Herbie to bring a smile to your face.

Based off the Mighty Ducks film series, Duck Pond Pool is a great place to bring some of your hockey dreams to life, all without the ice. It’s a hockey rink style pool with giant goals, hockey sticks and masks surrounding you. If a classic movie is more your style, check out main pool inspired by Fantasia. Sorcerer Mickey is there to spray you with water, just like the mops in the movie. This pool also has a kiddie pool nearby.

A good movie is nothing without a snack, or even a full meal. You can enjoy a blockbuster breakfast, lunch or dinner in a glitzy setting that is reminiscent of grand movie theater lobby. Start your day with a tasty “world premiere” breakfast featuring Mickey-shaped waffles, classic plant-based dishes and specialties from the bakery. Plus, take a midday intermission or call your day “a wrap” with pizza, pasta, burgers, grill items and more. As with the other two resorts, this can be found attached to the main building where the lobby is located, a small store and the bus stop for the parks.
Put Me In Coach…
Choosing the right All-Stars resort can be hard. Don’t worry, your favorite Enchanted Adventures agent is here to help. The resorts each have something unique about them and some similarities, including sharing a bus from the parks. So you are more than welcome to walk a neighbor resort and take in the ambiance. Which All-Stars is your favorite ? I am partial to Movies, since I “starred” in my honeymoon there.
