Florida Brings it All in 2019

Home > Destinations > Florida Brings it All in 2019

January 10, 2019 by Jessica Clawson

Over the last couple posts, I have covered what is coming in 2019 to the two major theme parks in Orlando, but there are other attractions in Florida that are bringing the fun in 2019!

SeaWorld Orlando – Sesame Street is coming to Orlando!

Enjoy visiting with all of your favorite Sesame Street residents and explore different locations. There will also be 6 new attractions, including Abby’s Flower Tower, Elmo’s Choo Choo Train and Cookie Drop! Festivals will be scattered throughout the year as well including fan favorites like Electric Ocean and Seven Seas Food and Wine Festival.

Bonus: SeaWorld’s sister park, Aquatica, is opening a new slide in the spring called the KareKare Curl. It will be a 2 person raft and involves getting shot up a vertical wall – Thrilling!

Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay

Big year for Busch Gardens as they celebrate their 60th anniversary. In this #YearofBeer, Busch Gardens is harking back to their opening days of 1959 and giving each guest 21 years or older 2 free beer samples with every visit! If that is not enough to bring you back for repeat visits, they are having 52 weeks of Events; over a dozen different events throughout the year. Think they are finished? You cannot have a major anniversary without opening a new attraction! Tigris, Florida’s tallest roller coaster, opens in the spring!

LegoLand

The Lego Movie World is scheduled to open this spring and will feature 3 brand new attractions; Lego Movie Masters of Flight, Unikitty’s Disco Drop, and Battle of Bricksburg! In Downtown Bricksburg, there are also new places to eat, character meet and greets and Benny’s Playship!, a new playground structure! There will also be Lego Movie themed hotel rooms at the LegoLand Hotel opening in April.

While in Florida, don’t forget to make visits to other great locations, including Dinosaur World, ICON Orlando 360 (Breaking ground on new areas this year for expected 2020 debut), and Kennedy Space Center (The Moon Landing was 50 years ago this July!)

As you can see, there are many reasons to visit Florida this year! Ready to start planning? Send me an email at [email protected] to get your quote or contact your favorite Enchanted Adventures travel agent! You can follow me on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram at @AAGTravel.
