It’s back and in a big way. The Universal Studios Mardi Gras tribute store has launched and needless to say there are so many things that are on the must have list.
What is a tribute store?
The past couple of years Universal has been using a flex space near Revenge of the Mummy as sort of pop up store, or a tribute to current parties. It’s a huge seasonal draw and a must stop at during any trip to Universal. They are well themed, full of merchandise that has to be had and some behind the scenes information as well.
Mardi Gras Tribute Store Now Open
The tribute store has been re-themed once again with it’s celebration of Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. As you step in inside the store you are taken through the float factory and get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to bring a float to life. Every step of the process is displayed for you to see, including sketches, materials, models, costumes and so much more. Its not just walk through of the magic, it’s also a place to be part of the parade. With the ability to purchase beads, masks, t-shirts and even some pretty tasty Mardi Gras themed treats, there is bound to be something for every one.
