Another great announcement this week from the Disney Parks Blog for their Halfway to Halloween Week. MNSSHP returns to Walt Disney World this summer and it’s gonna be EERIE-sistible. Returning to Magic Kingdom this August and running to the 1st of November, this spooktacular is a huge fan favorite. There will be plenty of tricks and treats in this series of parties. Parties will be happening the following dates….
- August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
- September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
- October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
- November: 1
It’s Spellbinding
Favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best and more to create a spellbinding atmosphere. A series of of tricks and treats will abound when the gates open on August 11th for a EERIE-sistible time. Guests of select Walt Disney Resorts will be able to purchase tickets on April 27th and the will be available to the other guests starting May 2nd.
Not So Spooky Spectacular
A fan favorite is returning this year with Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, where it’s good to be bad. Villians stride down Main Street, alongside heroes, the iconic Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers and other favorite characters. There might even be some new faces this year, you will have to wait and see.
Halloween is more than just Jack-o-lanterns, it’s also about Jack ! The Pumpkin King, a.k.a. Jack Skellington will once again host the nighttime spectacular, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular”. Featuring projections, special effects and lighting paired with fireworks, music and more. Disney’s iconic characters will dance across the castle, with some new faces joining them this year.
Trick-or-Treat yourself silly. Guests of the party can satisfy their sweet tooth at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party with trick or treating throughout the park. There are specific locations scattered around Magic Kingdom that will help appease your sweet tooth.
Not to be left out, the Sanderson Sisters will be there with their Spellbinding Spectacular. They will unite on the stage of Cinderella’s Castle for the ultimate “Hocus Pocus” party. During Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular, your favorite sisters will call on their favorite comrades to participate in the most epic “potion party” ever held in Magic Kingdom.
It’s not all about tricks, treats, parades and stage shows, the rides will be open. YES, the rides in Magic Kingdom are running during the party and this is a great time to ride! There are a few “extras” on some rides, but regardless, it’s a great time to experience all that Magic Kingdom has to offer, in a different light.
