The second festival of the year is starting on March 1st with EPCOT International Flower Garden Festival. There is nothing cooler than spring time at Walt Disney World, with gorgeous weather and blooming flowers everywhere, but there is always more. This stunning festival features alluring gardens, whimsical topiaries, unique cuisine and so much more. Let’s see what new additions are sprouting on March 1st.

New Additions
This year we have new additions to the amazing topiaries that fill Epcot. Disney’s “Encanto” will be well represented with the grand appearances of Antonio, Isabela, Luisa and of course Mirabel ! Located near the main entrance of EPCOT. This will be one of the first stops of many for must do photo moments. (Just don’t ask where Bruno is, remember, we don’t talk about Bruno).
Not to be outdone by the Family Madrigal, The American Adventure will also be welcoming a new topiary of Princess Tiana. Plus, returning favorites such as Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. You can’t forget Captain Hook or Tick Tock Croc (who really needs to be featured in a few Tic Tocs himself); Figment; Anna and Elsa and so many more.
Get Your Taste Buds Ready
As always, any festival at EPCOT will tempt your taste buds (and your waist line), and this year will be no exception. More than 15 outdoor kitchens will offer specialty menus of scrumptious cuisine and beverages. A fan favorite, The Citrus Blossom, will be moving to a new location at Odyssey. Along with new menu items here, there will be new items across the festival. You can read more about the different outdoor kitchens HERE.
It’s not all Flowers and Food
There are so many things to do at any EPCOT festival, it’s hard to pinpoint our favorites. On top of the gorgeous topiaries and the yummy food, there is so much more. There’s a springtime scavenger hunt that’s fun for all ages. Spike’s Pollen – Nation Exploration will have people “abuzz” again. Scentsy will be presenting Blossoms of Fragrance on the bridge to World Showcase. Guests will be invited to follow their noses to six stations, allowing them form lasting memories. And don’t forget the merchandise !! Not to be outdone, there will be “merch” for everyone. Starting with the official ’70’s inspired Orange Bird merchandise, there will be apparel, headgear, drink ware and so much more !
To visit the festival guests will need not only a ticket to EPCOT for the day, but also park reservations. And what’s the best way to visit the festival and get those tickets ? Contact your favorite Enchanted Adventures Travel Advisor and book an amazing Walt Disney World vacation during this time.
