We all know there is no shortage of cruise lines or ships out there, officially meaning , there really is one for everyone. But what’s on the horizon? Many lines are introducing new ships in the upcoming year. So what new ships are making waves throughout the oceans.
Virgin Voyages
After several delays, the Resilient Lady is scheduled to set sail in May of 2023. The 3rd member of Virgin’s lady fleet, with the same adult only experiences, is expected of Virgin Cruise Lines. This ship will accommodate 2700 passengers with lots fare-included perks. Wi-fi, fitness classes, basic beverage packages and 
wide variety of dining options.
The fourth addition to the Branson line, Virgin Voyages, will set sail out of Miami in December of 2023. Cruise goers can enjoy this adult only ship that follows suit of her sister ships. As always an excellent selection of restaurants and quality entertainment will abound. A variety of cabins with sweeping ocean views and picture-perfect balconies are just one of the many options to choose from. You can even find the signature hammock on the balconies.
Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival Jubilee will be Carnival’s largest ship yet and sets sail in December of 2023. Galveston, Texas will play host to this swanky new ocean liner. Joining her sister ships Mardi Gras and Celebration as the growing fleet keeps expanding. Featuring six fun zones, a spacious outdoor deck, reimagined bars and restaurants (including a two-story Tiki Bar !). The much anticipated rollercoaster Bolt, will also be onboard. There are still many details that have not been revealed, but it looks to be a grand lady. They say all things are bigger and better in Texas, looks like Carnival Cruise Lines is taking that to heart.
Celebrity Cruise Lines
The final member of Celebrity’s popular Edge-class ships, Celebrity Ascent will hit the open ocean fall of 2023. Featuring more than the just the iconic Magic Carpet, as some of her sister ships. Ascent will luxurious staterooms with the brand’s iconic Infinite Veranda design. Allowing guests to enjoy the open-air access to the ocean with just a touch of the button.
Norwegian Cruise Lines
Thrills seekers mark your calendars for August of 2023. Norwegian Viva, the second ship in their Prima Class, sets sail. This new ship, designed with fun in mind, features at massive three level go-kart racetrack ! There are also several free-fall drop slides that will give you rush like never before. Fans of NCL will recognize plenty similarities between Vivid and her sister ship, Prima, but hints have been dropped to expect changes. Especially on the food and entertainment front. We are eagerly waiting more information on this epic ship.
These are just a few of the new ships taking over the ocean in 2023. Cruise lines have ramped up the industry and in a big way.
