Icons, Fads, Catch Phrases and More …
Opening December of 2003, Disney’s retro value resort brings guests into the world of unforgettable fads from the 50’s through 90’s. Each themed area features motel-style buildings adorned with icons of the decade they represent. With 2,880 rooms in 10 separate buildings there is plenty of cool to go around. Three pools and the central building make up the the rest of the resort complex. The bus station to the parks is located at the front of the main building which includes the front desk, the gift shop, arcade and food court.
Transportation
There are two modes of transportation to the parks from Pop Century. The bus station to the parks is located at the front of the main building which includes the front desk, the gift shop, arcade and food court. Disney Skyliner can also be utilized to access Hollywood Studios and Epcot via the bridge the connects Pop Century and Art of Animation. (psssst a little secret, on clear nights you can see some of the fireworks from Epcot from this bridge).
