Now that the world is starting to move forward again. Pandemic is over (or nearly over) and you are ready to break free and see the world ! We’ve talked about when to travel, how to travel, but we haven’t talked about who to travel with.
How many generations can we get ?
Sure, you’ve been quarantined with your loved ones, sat across from each other through a glass door and kept up, now is the time to make new memories. My favorite memories are of my dad and my kids at Walt Disney World. I think he actually enjoyed it more than we did. The bond that was formed between the 3 of them during those vacations were some of the best. After that first trip, which to be honest, I was a little skeptical about, we made sure to never not invite him again. Multi-generational travel has become popular once again and people are trying to reconnect with family that they have missed the last couple of years. Check out these few reasons why I can’t wait for our next trip with the whole, extended family.

Spending Quality Time Together
With life returning to normal, that also means the busy schedules, the packed calendars and the “hard to fit it in” excuses come out. For the most part, gone are the zoom conferences and the ability to make your own hours, which means we are back to scheduling fun. It’s time to make sure those vacation memories are here to stay.
Making Lifetime Memories
When my kids “Walk down the middle Main Street” (you know you sang it) they will tell their kids that when they were that age, their grandparents took them down this same street. The memories to share and cherish are so important. Experiencing new adventures, exploring new places and even trying new foods, are things that are better when done with a family.

Bonding with Family
Spending time with Grandma and Grandpa while traveling allows you and your kids to gain a whole new perspective. Not only will they see things differently, they are, most of the time, just as fun and silly as the kids. Nurturing these bonds with extended family while experiencing a destination and its local culture makes for a great time for everyone.
