Tron is scheduled to open up to the general public on April 4th, 2023, but some lucky Cast Members and AP holders have been privy to a Tron Preview. One of our agents was one of the APs that was lucky enough to snag one of those coveted preview spots. Here is the skinny…Don’t worry, there are no spoilers ahead.

Lets Wait in a Line
Tron is located in between space mountain and Barnstormer. In fact, when you exit the ride, you end up at Barnstormer. Half of the queue was outside, but under cover and under the ride itself. The rest of the

queue was inside. There are some really cool surprises in the queue that I did not videotape. When you get close to the entrance of the actual ride, there are lockers for you to place everything in. This is not a ride where you can hold your cell phone. You will have to hold onto the handlebars just to stabilize yourself. The one thing that stood out is there is a space before you go in with a line with a cast member helping you to see if you can ride the ride. There are handicapped accessible seats. There have been some instances of guests that have not been able to fit on the Tron ride. Even though they do fit on other Disney rides. It has to do with the ride mechanism and how the seats “hold” you in. They do have a seating accommodation that is not on a bike. For those who are unable to be accommodated by the bicycle type seats.
Ready to take off..
When you load onto the bicycle, you are leaning forward holding onto the handlebars. You have to hold onto the handlebars on this ride. Otherwise you will fall forward , the ride begins with a launch to the outside. There are no inversions on Tron, but it does go very fast. Once you finish the outside portion, then you go inside where it reminded me a lot of rock and roller coaster without the inversions. The whole ride is super smooth, my only complaint is that it was too short. We were lucky today to go from the scan in to boarding the actual ride in about 25 or 30 minutes. It did not take a very long time for us to get through the queue.
Opening Day is around the corner..
However, if you were coming during the opening weeks of Tron , which also happens to be during spring break for most people prepare for very long wait times. Compared to the last two rides that Disney has released guardians of the galaxy and rise of the resistance. This ride is super short. I honestly don’t know what exact time on it , but it felt similar in time to mine train. Everyone coming off of it really enjoyed it. It was a very neat concept. I just wish it would’ve lasted about a minute longer.”
There is still time to get with your favorite Enchanted Adventures Agent to book your Spring Break vacation and be there for the opening of Tron.
